PRISMEDICAL announced today the company has entered into a License Agreement with Baxter Healthcare Corporation for exclusive worldwide rights to PRISMEDICAL's sterile fluid technology for all renal applications. PRISMEDICAL and Baxter will co-develop products based on PRISMEDICAL's patented technology for producing sterile, dialysis-quality water at home or point-of-use, using existing potable water sources. PRISMEDICAL is a privately-held company, located in Napa, California, which specializes in the development and manufacture of disposable, hand-held medical systems that deliver fluid therapies on-demand at the point-of-use.
