PRISMEDICAL CORPORATION today announced the issue of a patent by the United States Patent Office for an In-line IV Drug Delivery Device. The patent allows for drug dissolution and controlled delivery in a simple device connected in-line between the source of sterile diluent and the patient. With the issue of this patent, the Company's intellectual property portfolio now includes 12 patents issued and 22 patents pending in the business space defined as production of sterile therapeutic solutions at the point-of-use.
