Our new TRITON^® M recently passed the rigorous NSF P248 protocol testing. Reviewed and published by NSF, protocol NSF P248 was prepared by the U.S. Army Center for Health Promotion and Preventive Medicine (USACHPPM) to test individual water purifiers (IWPs) that remove or inactivate microbiological contaminants from virtually any fresh water source likely to be encountered during military exercises and deployments. The water used to test IWPs in NSF P248 is extremely challenging to purify, which is why the TRITON M is among the first, if not the only, portable water purification system to successfully complete NSF P248.
