Triton® EP recently debuted at the National Hurricane Conference in Orlando, Florida
Napa, CA May 18, 2006: PRISMEDICAL CORPORATION the maker of MainStream®, the only FDA cleared water purification device to produce US Pharmacopeia sterile water in a handheld, portable, gravity driven and point-of-use device, introduces the Triton EP Personal Water Purification Unit capable of producing up to 55 gallons (200 liters or 440 pounds) of highly pure water for emergencies or outdoor use, without power, pumping or chemicals. Triton EP's 1.2 pound size and five year shelf life means emergency preparedness agencies and families planning for emergencies can easily transport and store Triton EP, and not have to worry about recycling stored water which becomes unsafe over time; (FEMA recommends changing stored emergency water every 6 months). When a water emergency occurs or a water contamination alert goes out, Triton EP simply makes the water the user needs when and where they need it from practically any non-brackish surface water available (tap/hose, swimming pools, lakes, river & streams, etc.). With Triton EP, a family of four can produce all of their emergency water needs for drinking, cooking and personal hygiene for approximately 10 days.
