Michael E. Taylor, PhD, Vice President, Research and Chief Science Officer. Dr. Taylor co-founded the company in 1996. He currently serves as the Chief Scientific Officer and Corporate Secretary. As CSO, Dr. Taylor provides assistance in strategic planning for the company. Dr. Taylor has been the originator and Principal Investigator of all of the Department of Defense Contracts from the Office of Naval Research. He is responsible for the Intellectual Properties, which includes 60 national and international issued and pending patents. Dr. Taylor received a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology and a Master Degree in Pathology from the Medical College of Virginia. Prior to founding PRISMEDICAL, Dr. Taylor co-founded Sepratech. Prior to that, he held an academic research position at the Academic Cancer Center at the University of California, San Diego.
Bill Stark, VP Sales and Marketing, has 25 years of sales and marketing expertise at building and managing distribution sales channels for start-up companies. Bill's background includes sales and marketing management roles at AT&T and Verizon Wireless, where he was instrumental in bringing cellular technology to the retail market in the US. Bill was also instrumental in launching retail at MobileComm, a BellSouth owned national paging firm. Bill has been VP Sales and Marketing since 2006 and has helped the firm introduce its products to new markets including outdoor retail, consumer emergency preparation and military/tactical sales.
Dr. Ewald Mueller, Corporate Controller of PRISMEDICAL, has more than 20 years of senior management career within the Pharmaceutical industry encompassing ethical, generic, and consumer health care products. Dr. Mueller has extensive experience within a research & development environment, provided strategic, business, financial & operating leadership to start-up enterprises, mergers, acquisitions, IPO, and high-growth divisions. His unique combination of scientific, business and financial acumen is backed by Ph.D. in Biology and Duke MBA.
As R&D controller Dr. Mueller was overseeing R&D budgets exceeding $250 million annually. He was a key player supporting the successful $1.5 billion IPO of Merck KGaA in his role as controller of the pharmaceutical division. For multiple international acquisitions, divestures, mergers, and business expansion projects exceeding several billion dollars, Dr. Mueller provided sound financial analysis facilitating the decision making process.
