TRITON^® M Water Purification Systems provide exceptional protection against all types of waterborne microbes, including bacteria, protozoan (cysts) and viruses.

Independently tested and verified to meet the joint US Army/NSF protocol P248, titled Emergency Military Operations Microbiological Water Purifiers, a rigorous performance challenge that is far tougher to pass than the previous performance mark for recreational water filters/purifiers, the EPA Guide Standard and Protocol for Testing Microbiological Water Purifiers.

Even with the more extreme challenge water defined by P248, TRITON M Water Purification Systems have been proven to achieve EPA required reduction levels for microbial drinking water contaminants:

• 6-log reduction (99.9999%) reduction of bacteria,
• 4-log (99.99%) reduction of viruses,
• 3-log (99.9%) reduction of cysts like giardia and cryptosporidium.

Design and performance

TRITON M’s modular design and rugged, mil-spec materials offer maximum versatility, letting users select the level of protection they need in a variety of use scenarios. Choices range from ‘filtration’ only, to improve the taste and odor of already safe drinking water, to full ‘purification’ of virtually any available source of freshwater. Requiring no batteries, no pumping and powered by gravity or drink tube suction, TRITON M products function as self-contained gravity flow systems as well as adapting to common hydration systems and water containers.
